     Welcome to the perks page, this is one of the primary pages at the Hub, so if you find any bugs or have information that could be updated please post it in the correct perk threads in the forum. Regular: Unlimited sprint.
Pro: Get over obstacles faster.
Pro Prerequisites: Run 26 miles using marathon.

Extended Information::
  • Tips: Marathon is recommended for players that like to stay on the move, especially on big maps where there is alot of running involved. On gametypes such as Search and Destroy it allows the player to rush faster than their teammates/enemies, avoiding nades and getting over to enemy lines as soon as possible. Marathon is more a passive perk that is always benefiting the player.

  • Recommended Perks: Other perks that go nicely with marathon are Lightweight and SitRep or Scrambler. These perks allow you to be on the move the entire game, moving at an exceptional pace and to be aware of your surroundings. Scrambler enables the player to be in close-range of their enemies and scramble their UAV, buying them time to take them down.

  • Recommended Weapons: Marathons purpose is to enable you to move swifty around the map, that meens this perk will not be viable for sniper rifles. Ther recommended weapon types are shotguns, AR's, and SMG's. Primarily shorter ranged weapons are the target for this perk so you can get behind your enemy as soon as possible and take them out in close range.

  • "Pro Rank" Review: The pro rank of Marathon is not as useful as some of the other pro ranks out there, which may change your decision on the perk all together. Getting over objects faster is nice and all, but how exactly will this help you? If you are being shot at while getting over an obstacle you're going to die whether you get over it faster or not. Pro rating: 3/5




Regular: Faster reloading.
Pro: Increases ADS (aim down sight) speed, allows the player to scope in faster.
Pro Prerequisites: Obtain 120 kills using Sleight of Hand.

Extended Information::
  • Tips: I am glad to see the port of sleight of hand from a 2nd tier perk to a 1st tier perk, as i loved this perk in COD4 but it wasn't viable because it took up the 2nd tier spot. This is a recommended perk, people die way too many times from being caught offguard when reloading or having to reload in the middle of a firefight. Sleight of hand allows you to reload pretty much constantly because of the rather large increase in animation speed. Combine this with animation cancelling (sprinting as soon as your clip refills but the animation isn't over) the last half of the reload animation and you should be set!

  • Recommended Perks: The recommended perks that go hand in hand with Sleight of Hand (pun intended), would have to be Lightweight and Steady Aim. The reason behind this decision is that Sleight of Hand really increases the pace of a game. Lightweight allows increased sprinting speed and in pro mode allows the player to scope in while/after sprinting, a major bonus. Steady aim is a no-brainer, being able to hipfire on the go is a major bonus to any player that likes to keep moving.

  • Recommended Weapons: Sleight of hand is viable with most weapon types in one way or another. The most recommended ones would be SMG's with small clip size, these weapons utilize all Sleight of Hand has to offer because of the frequent reloads. Sleight of hand also combos nicely with LMG's because of their incredibally long reload animation, all in all weapons shouldn't be the deciding factor for this perk. The primary factor in this perk is asking yourself the question, "how many times have i died because i had to reload?"

  • "Pro Rank" Review: Being able to scope in faster is always a bonus, especially when playing a fast paced game. Sleight of Hand increases the pace of the player, reloading more, shooting more, and now aiming down sights faster. This pro rank recieves a 4/5 as it doesn't exactly tie in with the whole reloading vibe that much but is still quite useful. Pro rating: 4/5




Regular: Full resupply from dead enemies.
Pro: Extra magazines (more ammunition).
Pro Prerequisites: Resupply 100 times off of dead bodies using scavenger.

Extended Information::
  • Tips: The ultimate perk for the invincible. If you never die, and are focused on obtaining AC130's, Pavelows, and Tactical Nukes you need this perk. After about 8-12 kills the player will be out of special grenades, frag grenades, ammunition, equipment all that good stuff. This really hinders the players ability to continue pwning. With scavenger the player can refuel and restock all of their equipment and ammunition off of dead corpses, 'nuff said.

  • Recommended Perks: There are a few paths you can go down with scavenger. The most obvious path to me would be the stealth path, if you are trying to survive for this big killstreaks and need to resupply off of dead bodies alot you're not going to want to be detected by the enemy. This is why we recommend Cold-Blooded and PRO Ninja. These perks allow to go unseen by the enemy, while racking up plenty of kills from rooftops and getting behind enemy lines.

  • Recommended Weapons: Not snipers. If you are sniping you will be playing on the outskirts, not near players to restock off of in the first place, and it is very rare that a skilled sniper will run out of ammunition. Recommended weapon types would be SMG's and AR's. These are the two most popular weapon groups for running out of ammunition, you are also up in the enemies face with these weapons which allows you to scavenge whenever needed.

  • "Pro Rank" Review: Extra magazines are always nice, especially because the primary point of this perk is to restock when you run out of ammunition. To me, this perk is more useful for its equipment restocking abilities, you can always pickup an extra weapon if you run out of ammo aswell. This pro rank is rated 4/5 because extra magazines are always awesome to have but arn't a necessity. Pro rating: 4/5




Regular: 2 attachments for players primary weapon.
Pro: 2 attachments for players secondary weapon.
Pro Prerequisites: Obtain 200 kills with 2 attachments equipped.
Rank Unlocked: 21




Regular: Allows you to change classes at anytime during the match.
Pro: Allows you to change classes faster than before.
Pro Prerequisites: Obtain 120 kills while using One Man Army.
Rank Unlocked: 45





Regular: Increases bullet damage.
Pro: Increases bullet damage against players and vehicles (helis, pavelows, AC130's, etc.)
Pro Prerequisites: Obtain 250 kills using Stopping Power.
Rank Unlocked: 4




Regular: Allows the player to sprint faster.
Pro: Allows the player to move faster and do a quick aim after sprinting.
Pro Prerequisites: Sprint 30 miles while using Lightweight.
Rank Unlocked: 4




Regular: Killstreaks require 1 less kill to be unlocked.
Pro: Deathstreaks require 1 less death to be unlocked.
Pro Prerequisites: Obtain 40 killstreaks while using Hardline.
Rank Unlocked: 9




Regular: Undetectable by UAV, air support, thermal scopes, and sentry guns.
Pro: Players name and red box does not appear when targeted by a player (applies to enemies using guns aswell as enemies in the skies, AC130 etc.)
Pro Prerequisites: Destroy 40 enemy killstreak rewards while using Cold-Blooded.
Rank Unlocked: 24




Regular: Increases explosive weapon damage.
Pro: Increases explosive damage aswell as air-support damage.
Pro Prerequisites: Obtain 100 kills using explosives with Danger Close equipped.
Rank Unlocked: 33





Regular: Increases melee range.
Pro: No damage received from falling.
Pro Prerequisites: Obtain 20 kills while using Commando.
Rank Unlocked: 4




Regular: Increases hipfire accuracy.
Pro: Allows player to hold breath longer while scoped in with a sniper rifle.
Pro Prerequisites: Obtain 80 hipfire (non-scoped) kills while using Steady Aim.
Rank Unlocked: 4




Regular: Scrambles the radar of nearby enemies (small radius), making their minimap gray noise.
Pro: Delays the explostion time on claymores, allowing you to escape if you are quick enough.
Pro Prerequisites: Obtain 50 close-range kills while using Scrambler.
Rank Unlocked: 17




Regular: Invisible to the heartbeat sensor attachment.
Pro: Dead silence, your footsteps are very silent.
Pro Prerequisites: Obtain 50 close-range kills while using Ninja.
Rank Unlocked: 29




Regular: Detect nearby enemy explosives and tactical insertions.
Pro: Increases enemy footstep volume.
Pro Prerequisites: Destroy 120 enemy devices (explosives, tactical insertions, etc.) while using SitRep.
Rank Unlocked: 37


Regular: Instead of dying, the player will fall to the ground wielding their pistol. The player is able to crawl while in last stand, but will die after 10 seconds or is shot.
Pro: Enables the use of equipment in Last Stand (tactical insertions, frag grenades, throwing knives, etc.)
Pro Prerequisites: Obtain 20 kills while in Last Stand.
